Mount Saint Vincent: More Than Words to Helen Stafford
Curry '35
The College of Mount Saint Vincent has changed
tremendously since Helen Stafford Curry graduated in
1935, and she finds it difficult to compare the education
she received then to the opportunities of today’s
students. Generational difference notwithstanding, she
knows of one important constant: “The College of
Mount Saint Vincent mission has always been to prepare
students with an excellent liberal education rooted in
the Catholic tradition for their life work and
