Eric Lastres (Bayside, NY) recorded
career-highs with 15 points and 13 rebounds and his first
career double-double as the College of Mount Saint Vincent
Men’s Basketball team cruised to a 108-72 win at Bard
on Tuesday night. Mount Saint Vincent had four players
reach double figures in the game as it won its third
straight contest. 
12/3/2008 - Junior
Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY)
posted game-highs with 19 points and 12 rebounds as the
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team posted a 77-60 road win at Bard on Tuesday night.
Heesemann was one of three players to record double figures
in the game for the Mount, as she posted her first
double-double of the season.
11/25/2008 - Senior co-captain Joe
Cooke (Mount Vernon, NY) scored a game-high 25 points and
was one of four Mount Saint Vincent players to record
double-figures as the Dolphins evened their record at 2-2
with an 88-79 road win at St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn
Monday night. 
11/24/2008 - College
of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Randy Battle
(Bronx, NY) has been named the Skyline Conference
Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week it was announced
Monday evening. Battle averaged 15.0 points over three
games for the Dolphins to open the 2008-09 season
11/23/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team was defeated by
a score of 75-56 on Saturday night at New York University
in the Championship Game of the 2008 NYU Tip-Off
Tournament. Junior point guard Lauren Percodani
(Staten Island, NY) scored a game-high 16 points
in the game on her way to being named to the All-Tournament
Team. 
11/23/2008 - College of Mount Saint
Vincent senior Joe Cooke (Mount Vernon,
NY) was named to the Hamilton Tip-Off
All-Tournament Team it was announced late Saturday. Over
two games in the tournament Cooke averaged 21.5 points and
4.0 rebounds. 
11/22/2008 - Newcomer Nick
DiMaggio (Croton, NY) scored a game-high 27 points
and senior co-captain Joe Cooke (Mount Vernon,
NY) netted 25 for the Mount Saint Vincent
Men’s Basketball team who picked up its first win of
the season with a 97-92 triumph over Wells on Saturday. The
win gives the Dolphins a third place finish in the Hamilton
Tip-Off Tournament. 
11/22/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team placed four
players in double-figures on its way to a 91-56 triumph
over Rutgers-Camden in the Opening Round of the NYU Tip-Off
Tournament on Friday night. Karissa Koerner (Bay
Shore, NY) was the team’s top scorer with 19
points in the contest. 
11/22/2008 - The
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Swimming team
was defeated on the road Friday evening at USMMA-Kings
Point by a score of 140-117. Highlighting the evening for
the Dolphins were three individual victories and two relay
wins. The Mount was paced by junior Michelle
Cabahug (Queens Village, NY) who posted two of the
three individual wins. 
11/19/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team fell on the road
Tuesday night by a score of 66-50 in its season opener at
Lehman. The Dolphins had two players score in
double-figures on the night with sophomore Dino
Johnson (Amsterdam, NY) scoring a team-high 16 and
freshman Randy Battle (Bronx, NY) chipping
in with 13 for the Mount. 
11/17/2008 - The College of Mount
Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team will begin a new
era on Tuesday night when it opens the 2008-09 season at
Lehman at 7:30 p.m. New head coach Brian Nigro ’00
will be on the sidelines for his first career game as a
collegiate head coach and will look to get Mount Saint
Vincent back into the Skyline Conference Tournament for the
first time since the 2005-06 season.
