Men’s Basketball team cruised to a 108-72 win at Bard
on Tuesday night. Mount Saint Vincent had four players
reach double figures in the game as it won its third
straight contest.

Courtney Heesemann (New Hyde Park, NY)
posted game-highs with 19 points and 12 rebounds as the
College of Mount Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball
team posted a 77-60 road win at Bard on Tuesday night.
Heesemann was one of three players to record double figures
in the game for the Mount, as she posted her first
double-double of the season.

Cooke (Mount Vernon, NY) scored a game-high 25 points and
was one of four Mount Saint Vincent players to record
double-figures as the Dolphins evened their record at 2-2
with an 88-79 road win at St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn

(Bronx, NY) has been named the Skyline Conference
Men’s Basketball Rookie of the Week it was announced
Monday evening. Battle averaged 15.0 points over three

Saint Vincent Women’s Basketball team was defeated by
a score of 75-56 on Saturday night at New York University
in the Championship Game of the 2008 NYU Tip-Off
Tournament. Junior point guard
Lauren Percodani
(Staten Island, NY) scored a game-high 16 points
in the game on her way to being named to the All-Tournament
Team.

NY) was named to the Hamilton Tip-Off
All-Tournament Team it was announced late Saturday. Over
two games in the tournament Cooke averaged 21.5 points and
4.0 rebounds.

NY) netted 25 for the Mount Saint Vincent
Men’s Basketball team who picked up its first win of
the season with a 97-92 triumph over Wells on Saturday. The
win gives the Dolphins a third place finish in the Hamilton
Tip-Off Tournament.

Vincent players in double-figures with 24 points, but the
Dolphins were downed at Hamilton by a score of 107-93 in
the Opening Round of the Hamilton Tip-Off Tournament.

was defeated on the road Friday evening at USMMA-Kings
Point by a score of 140-117. Highlighting the evening for
the Dolphins were three individual victories and two relay
wins. The Mount was paced by junior

three individual wins.

year Head Coach Gerald Davis will be on the sidelines
tonight for the College of Mount Saint Vincent
Women’s Basketball team in its season opener at
Lehman. The Dolphins were selected third in the Skyline
Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll and received a
pair of first place votes after finishing 21-7 in 2007-08.

Saint Vincent Men’s Basketball team will begin a new
era on Tuesday night when it opens the 2008-09 season at
Lehman at 7:30 p.m. New head coach Brian Nigro ’00
will be on the sidelines for his first career game as a
collegiate head coach and will look to get Mount Saint
Vincent back into the Skyline Conference Tournament for the
first time since the 2005-06 season.
