At the Mount, you’ll have the magic of the
campus and the excitement of Manhattan.
When you visit, you’ll notice that Mount Saint
Vincent is situated on 70 beautiful acres overlooking the
Hudson—with the world’s most exciting
city just down the river. The
campus is safe, welcoming, and beautiful; the city is
bursting with opportunities—to enjoy cultural
events, enhance your education, or jump-start your
working life. More about
visiting… More about
our location…
You’ll have a great internship … or
maybe three.
Every year more than 150
undergraduate students travel off campus, many to
Manhattan, to work in businesses—such as MTV or
Merrill Lynch—or nonprofit organizations.
There’s nothing better for building a resume, job
skills, or professional contacts.

You’ll get the benefit of great
teaching.
Whether they’re teaching a
graduate class in nursing or
a freshman class in writing, the
Mount’s faculty members are
talented teachers dedicated to your success. You’ll
find small classes and lots of opportunities to ask
questions. You’ll also find expertise in everything
from civil unrest in Ireland to e-business.
You’ll learn more than you thought
possible.
The Mount’s 24
undergraduate majors, three minors,
11 certificate programs, and
two graduate programs cover the
humanities, sciences, social sciences, and business. In
addition, our undergraduate programs offer the power of a
liberal arts foundation, an emphasis on ethics.
